Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter “A”. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “A” element will be featured in their post. If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda’s blog ~ Scrappy Therapy If you came from Jenny Gilbert The Creative Heart – then you’re on the right track!
My “A” is standing for Avonlea, a retired paper pack, or in this case, an active Picture My Life (PML) card kit. “A” also is standing for Apple. The printed apple on this card is from the Avonlea PML 3 x 4″ size cards.
I cut a 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base out of Colonial White Cardstock. I covered the front of the card base with Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape, running the tape on a corner to corner angle. Teal Shimmer Tape followed by Silver Shimmer Tape and then another strip of Teal Shimmer Tape were applied across the center of the card. I matted the Avonlea 3″ x 4″ card onto a 3.25″ x 4.25″ piece of Smoothie Cardstock. 3D Foam Tape was applied to the back of the matted card and it was “popped up” over the Shimmer Trim and Washi Tape covered card base. I rounded all 4 corners of the card base and was done. This would be a great “Thinking of You” or “Just Because…” card.
Colonial White Cardstock, Smoothie Cardstock, Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape, Teal and Silver Shimmer Trim Tape, Avonlea Picture My Life Card, Non-Stick Micro Tip Scissors, 3D Foam Tape, Duck Easy Stick Adhesive, 12 x 12 Fiskers Cutting Tool, and a Corner Rounder Punch
